Mobile phones are wonderful devices, and over the last few years, they have continued to develop into more than just mobile phones due to the excessive number of tasks that you can now fulfill with them. One big thing that mobile phones do lack, especially the Google Pixel XL, is file management and picture manager, particularly when it comes to photos. With this in mind, we are going to be taking a closer look at how you can manage and transfer photos to Google Pixel XL on computer as on the computer; picture management is a lot easier.

By following the steps below, you will learn how to use the dr.fone – Android Transfer program to efficiently manage the photos on your Google Pixel 2 XL, while you have it connected to your computer.
Before you jump into the steps, for this method we will be using the “dr.fone” program as the picture manager for Google Pixel XL on the computer and therefore, it’s important that you have it installed before moving forward.
Step #1 – Connect your Google Pixel XL to your computer using the appropriate USB cable. To ensure that it has connected properly, look at the top left of the dr.fone program.
Step #2 – On dr.fone, you will be presented with several different features. For this method, click on the “Photos” tab located on the top panel.
Step #3 – From here, you will be able to browse all of the photos which are currently stored on your device. You can browse separate albums using the list on the left.
Step #4 – Now, take a few minutes to go through each of the albums and select all of the photos which you’d like to have moved from your Google Pixel XL, onto your computer. If you are just testing out the method, you can select only a few photos and come back later.
Step #5 – Once they’re all selected, direct yourself to the bar below the top panel, click on the “Export” button, and lastly select “Export to PC“.
Step #6 – A small “File Explorer” box will then appear on your screen prompting you to select the file location where you want the photos to be saved to. Simply select a folder, and click “OK“.
It’s worth noting that if you want to export an entire album, simply right click on the album, click “Export“, and follow similar steps to the ones we’ve discussed in detail above. Learning how to manage and transfer photos to Google Pixel XL on a computer has never been easier.
No longer must you spend hours wading through each of your photo albums. With this method, you can get the job done in a few short minutes.
Part 2. Using dr.fone Switch – Best Picture Manager to Delete Photos on Google Pixel XL
With the steps which we have listed below, you will be able to sort through all of the photos that are currently on your Google Pixel XL and delete those that you no longer want to have on it.
As with the first method, you will be required to have dr.fone – Best Picture Manager downloaded, installed, and ready to go.
Step #1 – Take your Google Pixel XL and connect it to your computer using the appropriate USB cable. To ensure that your device is connected, simply look at the top left of dr.fone Switch.
Step #2 – On the top panel, go ahead and click on the “Photos” option. From here, you will be able to view all of the photos which are currently stored on your phone and will be able to view some brief information about each photo.

It’s incredibly important that you double check the photos which you are deleting. If you delete photos which you didn’t want to delete, then it will be incredibly difficult for you to get them back.
Deciding which photos that you want to delete is difficult and it isn’t made any easier by inefficiently deleting them either. With this method, you can make the whole process a lot easier.
Part 3. Using dr.fone Switch – Best Picture Manager to Transfer Photos from iOS/Android to Google Pixel XL
One of the first tasks that we do when getting a new phone is transferring the data stored on our old phones over to our new phones and more importantly, the photos which are on our old phones. Follow the steps below to find out how dr.fone – Switch can help you to transfer photos to Google Pixel XL on a computer.
Step #1 – Connect both your old and new mobile phones to the computer.
Step #2 – On the main menu of the program, click on the “Switch” option.
Step #3 – On this display which will then be shown, make sure that your Google Pixel XL is selected as the “Destination” device rather than the “Source” device. If that’s the case, simply click on the switch button located in the center of the screen.
Step #4 – A menu will then appear allowing you to select the different types of data that you’d like to have transferred onto your Google Pixel XL. For this method, you are only required to have “Photos” selected.
Step #5 – When you’re ready to do so, click on the “Start Transfer” button and the process will begin.
Step #6 – How long this takes depends entirely on how many photos you have on your old device although once it’s complete, you can now access all of your photos on your new Google Pixel XL.
On the other hand, if you are looking to selectively transfer data (for example, if you only want to transfer certain photos), then follow the steps below.
Step #1 – As with above, connect both of your devices to your computer.
Step #2 – Select the “Photos” option from the top panel.
Step #3 – From here, you can freely browse your photos. Go through each of your albums using the menu on the left and select any of the photos which you’d like to have transferred.
Note: if you forget to transfer any photos and don’t realize until afterward, you can come back and repeat this part of the process later on.
Step #4 – Browse each of your albums and one by one, select the photos in each album that you’d like to have transferred to your new phone.
Step #5 – When they’re all selected and you’re ready to move forward, simply click on the “Export” button at the top, click “Export to“, and lastly click on your Google Pixel XL.
Of course, if you’re looking to conserve the hard drive space on your new phone, the second method would be ideal for you to manage Google Pixel XL photos on a computer. However, if you want to save yourself some time and transfer all of them, the first method is what you’re looking for.
These final two methods which we looked at are methods which not a lot of programs out there offer if any. Being able to transfer data across platform is something which neither the iOS platform or Android platform has to offer, making dr.fone – Android Transfer or dr.fone – Switch a truly unique program.
When purchasing a new phone, the first thing that we all jump to do is transferring data from our new device straight on to our new device. There are very few people who don’t do this as simply put; we need our photos! The photos that we take are our memories and if you don’t know how to Manage and Transfer Photos to Google Pixel XL with the Best Picture Manager on a computer, you’ll end up losing them for good. However, if you accidentally delete your important pictures on your Android phone, don’t worry, the best Android Photo Recovery is here to save you.
